Connected By Faith. Called To More.

We’re Following God’s Call.

For a long time, we’ve felt restless.

Not restless in a bad way, but in a way that we now know was God preparing us for something new.

We’ve watched how many churches have evolved. Many have prioritized performance over presence, expansion over connection, and production over true discipleship.

Focus shifted to growing numbers, building campuses, and perfecting Sunday experiences—but somewhere in that process, many people feel like they’ve lost the connection to God, to each other, and to something real.

There’s a true hunger and stirring to get back to the basics and reflect the Church of Acts in today’s world. The Church of Acts that we read about in God’s Word.

That’s why we’re on this journey to do things differently.

God has called us to build a church where people feel seen, heard, and known. A place where faith isn’t about attending a service but about living it out, together.

Over the past several months, we’ve had conversations with people who feel the same way. They’ve told us this is what they’ve been seeking. Some have prayed for a community like this. We’ve had many come through our community at Bridges and expressed the authenticity and genuineness that they felt. Sharing comments like, “this is what the world needs”.

If this resonates with you, we invite you to be part of this next chapter with us.

The church isn’t a place you go; it’s a community you build.

We believe God is leading us into something deeper—a church where faith is lived out in community, service, and purpose.

Below are six key areas that shape Bridges 2.0.

Click to explore each one.

  • We are actively looking for a building to call home—not just a place for Sunday services, but a true gathering place that is open throughout the week. We envision a space that belongs to the community as much as it belongs to us.

A place where people come to:

    • Gather for worship, prayer, and meaningful conversations.

    • Host small groups, book clubs, and discipleship gatherings.

    • Support those in need, offering space for outreach and care.

    • Simply be—a safe space for anyone seeking connection.

This isn’t just about finding a church building. It’s about creating a home base for something bigger.

  • We’re not doing this alone. We’re building partnerships with:

    • Businesses and community leaders who want to see real change.

    • Other churches and ministries who believe in collaboration over competition.

    • People like you who are passionate about deep relationships and true discipleship.

These partnerships will strengthen our ability to serve, grow, and amplify God’s love in practical ways.

We are also actively engaging in community events—both ones we create and those we join in partnership with others. Wherever there is an opportunity to serve, connect, or share God’s love, we want to be present. Whether it’s hosting an event, collaborating with local organizations, or simply showing up to support others, we believe that being active in our city is part of our calling.

  • Jesus spent His time with the overlooked, the outsiders, and the people society forgot. We are expanding our outreach to:

    • The homeless and underserved.

    • People who feel disconnected from church but not from God.

    • Anyone searching for a place to belong.

We are actively seeking new volunteer opportunities, forming partnerships with organizations serving our city, and mobilizing our community to be the hands and feet of Jesus.scription text goes here

  • Not everyone feels like they belong in a traditional leadership role. But we believe God places callings on people’s hearts in all kinds of ways.

We want to help people step into those callings—whether that means:

    • Hosting home church gatherings or Bible studies.

    • Leading outreach events or mentorship programs.

    • Creating spaces for meaningful conversation, prayer, and discipleship.

    • Simply using their gifts to serve in the way God has called them.

We’re here to support and equip those who feel called to lead, serve, and create.

  • Church shouldn't be something you attend—it should be something you live. We know that not everyone can be in the room every week, but that doesn’t mean they should feel disconnected.

That’s why we are intentionally planning to expand our online community to make sure that connection happens:

    • Interactive Facebook groups that foster real conversations and discipleship.

    • Online worship and prayer that aren’t just livestreams but actual moments of shared faith.

    • Connection activities—from Q&A sessions to Bible discussions—giving people a space to belong, no matter where they are.

For many, online community is real community. We’re making sure it’s meaningful.

  • While we are searching for a building, our vision cannot be confined to four walls.

Church doesn’t just happen on a Sunday morning inside a building—it happens in coffee shops, in workplaces, in living rooms, and on the streets.

We want to see church happening wherever people are gathered, praying, and living out their faith. That means:

    • Encouraging gatherings outside of traditional services.

    • Supporting people in forming meaningful faith communities in everyday spaces.

    • Creating a culture where we don’t wait for people to come in—we go out.
