Community Gatherings
Opportunities to connect through vision nights, conversations, meals, and gatherings across Nashville are being developed.
What if we have inherited a definition that is smaller than what Jesus intended?
For many of us, church became a place to attend, a service to sit through, a calendar to follow, or an organization to support.
But Jesus did not ask people to attend a brand.
He invited people to follow Him.
He gathered people. Walked with them. Taught them. Equipped them. Sent them.
He invited people into a different way of living, seeing, serving, and participating in the Kingdom of God.
Not just a better Sunday. A different life.
Jesus gave us the model. Acts shows people meeting in homes, sharing meals, praying together, supporting needs, and living out their faith in everyday life.
The disciples lived it. The early church practiced it.
So how did church become something many people primarily attend?
Somewhere along the way, many of us settled for attendance.
Church is often the word people use. Discipleship is often what they’re missing.
People are already gathering, praying, serving, opening homes, starting conversations, helping neighbors, and living out their faith.
Bridges exists to connect people to people, churches to churches, resources to needs, businesses to communities, and faith to everyday life.
Explore the visionWe’ve been having conversations with pastors, worship leaders, business owners, longtime church members, people who left church, and people exploring faith for the first time.
“I spend so much time maintaining ministry that I rarely have time to disciple people.”
“Sometimes I wonder if we’ve confused production with presence.”
“I want my work to matter, but I don’t know how my business fits into the Kingdom.”
“I didn’t walk away from Jesus. I walked away from what church became.”
We are working with churches, ministries, businesses, and community leaders to build meaningful ways to connect, serve, worship, pray, and participate throughout Nashville.
Opportunities to connect through vision nights, conversations, meals, and gatherings across Nashville are being developed.
We are identifying worship nights, prayer gatherings, and partner opportunities where people can join what God is already doing.
New service opportunities and community partnerships are on the way as Bridges continues building connections throughout the city.
We're not trying to replace where you already worship, serve, or belong.
Bring your questions. Bring your small group. Bring your event. Bring your desire to live more like Jesus beyond Sunday.
Stay connected as Bridges grows. We’ll occasionally share opportunities, messages, stories, and updates about what God is doing through Bridges and throughout our community.
