Teaching through Song

In Colossians 3:16, the Apostle Paul writes “Let the message of Christ dwell among you richly as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom through psalms, hymns, and songs from the Spirit, singing to God with gratitude in your hearts.” In short, he’s telling the Church to teach through music. In our worship experience at Bridges, we integrate moments of testimony, sharing stories and scriptures through the song. Think of it as VH1 Storytellers meets the Bible.

TED style talks

We preach the Word of God at Bridges through series, usually 3-6 weeks in length. Our “Bridges Talks” are crafted much like a TED talk, 12-15 minutes in length, giving you points of application, and diving into the context, truth, and meaning behind the Bible. You will find the talks engaging, energetic, practical, and transformational. We believe the Bible is the inspired Word of God, and we believe it’s a gift for all people!

Reflection and Rest

Our culture is always on the move. The word “rest” is a foreign concept for most people. In our weekly worship experience, we take Psalm 46:10 to heart - “Be still and know that I am God.” To close out our services, we take Communion every week, and reflect on the love and sacrifice of Jesus. Then we enter into a time we call “Selah”. In it’s Hebrew translation, Selah means “pause and reflect”. We show Bible verses on our screens, and our prayer team is available to pray with you and for you.
